The American Bridge Forward runs independent campaigns to defeat local, state, and federal candidates who will undermine women's rights and elect pro-choice champions who will prioritize the civil rights of disenfranchised Americans nationwide.
We Are The American Bridge Forward
We are a collective of women of color committed to creating meaningful change in our communities and beyond. Our mission is to champion environmental protections, advance social justice, and women's rights, ensuring that the voices of marginalized communities are heard, respected, and prioritized in the political arena.
Environmental Protections
We believe that a healthy environment is a fundamental right. Our work focuses on advocating for policies that protect our air, water, and land from corporate exploitation and pollution.
We support sustainable practices that preserve our planet for future generations and raise funds to defeat candidates who do not prioritize environmental protections.
Social Justice
Social justice is at the core of our efforts. We work to dismantle systemic racism, promote economic equity, and ensure that all people have access to the opportunities and resources they need to succeed.
We actively campaign against and fund efforts to defeat candidates who oppose social justice initiatives.
Women’s Rights
As a collective of women of color, we are deeply committed to advancing women's rights. This includes fighting for reproductive justice, equal pay, and protections against gender-based violence. We believe in empowering women to lead and make decisions about their bodies, lives, and futures. We also focus on mobilizing resources to defeat candidates who threaten women’s rights.
Founded by a diverse group of women of color who understand the unique challenges facing our communities, we are united by a shared vision of a just and equitable society. Our members come from various backgrounds and professions, but we are all driven by the same purpose: to fight for a future where everyone can thrive, regardless of race, gender, or socioeconomic status.
